Hi, the reason why the gemini is on the 81/A is becuase it did the this morning's J3. There should be a a Gem on every route apart from 75,76 and the 78.

If that is the case then a Gemini would be on 81/81A every day and at roughly the same time, that is not the case. Plus in this case there is no reason why it couldn't be changed to a commander or something else, the depot is close enough to both 81/81A terminus.

Well that what i have been told by drivers and like you say they should swop in the day for something smaller. Also like 3111 says each day is different on the J routes. At this current time Speke are short and they have buses off the road for e.g 4120 and some times there is nothing in the depot that is spare anyway like CX54 says it could be Contract specifications? . If it isnt to do with that in my opinion the 3 cadets should be used in the morning along with commanders for the J routes.

A depot bus shortage is good enough for me!

Deckers regularly appearing on other duties that are not supposed to be 100% deckers (like the 79, 82 and 86) makes your point invalid. Funny how when people complain about singles on the 79 that is ok but when it's the 82, a route which is just as busy if not more so there has to be a "reason" for the Myllenniums to appear on here daily.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

J routes run dead to the start point from the depot and once the trip is finished run dead back to speke from JLR for the daily duty. Only route which does a return is J5 Tower Hill .See them everyday

4441 was still on the 78 at 1230. Commander 2588 was on the 79D (made a change to travel on one) and there was a Gemini on the 79.

Here on some route changes from 21/04/13

As we know about the 76s which are now operated by stagecoach arriva now do a 75E on a Sunday which starts from Great charlotte st and finnishes at Allerton rd and then returns but only to Philharmonic Public House,Myrtle Street.

this is pointless if you ask me.

here is the time table : http://www.merseytravel.gov.uk/travellin...02013).pdf

If you look at the timetable properly, the timing point at the Philharmonic has a half-moon icon next to it. Look at the key and this icon means that the journey starts/finishes at Gt Charlotte Street 6 minutes earlier/later. Smile

J2: Tower Hill - Jag
J5: Jag - Tower Hill

These are one way journeys and come back OOS from the terminus. There are Monday timetables, Tuesday to Thursday timetables and Friday timetables. J routes leave and return to the garage at different times due to this.
Once the deckers return to the garage they are reallocated to the 79's, 82's and 86's, in theory anyway.

3313 is on the 82, I know it's nothing unusual but it's just to keep you all updated that it's still running round. Smile
