Yes 2 black ones, KYT and KYU. I'll have to keep a lookout for them. How long ago did the Merseylink contract change hands? I think it was around 2-3 months ago I last saw one close enough to see that it had Cumfybus legal lettering - though admittedly my memory for how long ago things happened is notoriously bad!

Am on Optare Solo YS02 UCC on the 290 and the back window on the Door side has had its handle removed and got an out of order sign on it!

An older Solo today on London Road looked to be on fire. When I drove past it the whole area was filled with dark brown sooty fog coming out of the bus that was pulled over with its hazards on. Certainly not in a healthy way at all

How can cumfybus get away with repairing the bus panel with duck tape? Surely tfgm wouldn't allow this...

You want to see some of the Aintree based Solos...

Im sure they could get a contract to advertise duck tape and it wouldn't look to bad lol.

Do you not remember JPT?? They had shares in duck/gaffer tape.

I would imagine the bus would have to go away to have the panel repaired and they probably don't anything to replace it having said that I've noticed some of MCTs TFGM owned hybrids with very obvious in house panel repairs.

I thought if it were a tfgm bus that had damage then tfgm would provide cover ie from optare.

Optare's standards are very low and the TFGM vehicles go to Optare's at Trafford Park every six weeks for an inspection, regularly returning with duct tape and not much more
