Merseytravel just seem to be trying to get as much out of the tendered budget as they can by connecting as many merseytravel funded services together as is physically possible to do.

After some of the changes this April I do not think it will be possible to get any more cuts out of the tender budget without places starting to lose services altogether.

Well, you'll be surprised at what they have planned and what will be changing very soon...

Wonder if this will affect the annual MTT Classic bus running day in September and the NWVRT Boxing day run out? As both of these use Mann island as a terminus as they are not allowed to use Liverpool one bus station.

Very odd sighting this morning was a Bluebird van/minibus/thing working on the peak C4/C5 journeys! Two of the three CL boards do the peak C4/C5 journeys before going onto the CL, however I didn't manage to see if it went onto the CL for the day.

YS02 UCC currently has no working destinations and hasn't done for the past few weeks! Seen it on the 193 and 135 lates with paper destinations a few times lately.

Also, a bit late but CL-branded YD63 VBT was on the 130 one night about two weeks ago - quite an odd sighting!

YD63VBT was on the 231 in Maghull last night. Think the Citylink branded Solos may appear on any Cumfybus route now with the withdrawal of the Citylink service being imminent.

The bluebird is on the c5 again this morning.

A CityLink Solo was on school duties in Southport yesterday afternoon.
