RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - MPTE1955 - 02/02/2013 10:07 The problem with a step entrance bus is worse for wheel chair users than those with children. A person with a pram can simply fold it up and this takes seconds to do. I speak as somebody with an 11 week old baby so and not as somebody without a child. Its not ideal but it is better than letting the bus go. With a wheelchair user, well this is simply not possible. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - Ultralow - 02/02/2013 10:12 2583 has broke down on a 78 outside lime st. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - childwallblues - 02/02/2013 18:44 OLYMPIAN ON THE 79 Olympian 3313 was on the 79D today. Also out on the 79 was an unidentified B7. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - CX06 EBK - 02/02/2013 20:51 (02/02/2013 06:37)bolton bus basher Wrote: when i last had 3332 is was very bouncy but it seemed a good bus to me , mind you i would say its better than the B7 as my personal opinion is the B7 deckers are rubbish that sound like hair dryers R-WVRs are crashy and in no way offer a better ride than a B7TL. They're just so dated, from a passenger point of view B7s are better in every possible way. They're smoother and just ride better in general. 3313 was on the 79 today as mentioned above and it was completely woeful and rode really badly. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - H101GEV - 02/02/2013 21:32 The final day of the 501 saw 6023 and now unbranded 6005 doing the honours. Loadings, as they have generally been throughout the short life of this service, were comically low. The Bendis are put to good use on the 500 and 699 in terms of their capacity, but that has never been the case with the 501. A nice idea, but ultimately an ill-fated one. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - wirralbus - 03/02/2013 08:23 So what is now in store for the bendibuses that had been used on the 501 ? RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - J654UHN - 03/02/2013 13:05 500s and 699s WB. Might see them get painted now there is spares RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - M60lad - 04/02/2013 07:21 Now the 501 has finished is there any reason why the 2 spare Citaroes can't find their way onto other Speke services say 82 or 86/As for example considering how busy these services get RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - MX12CFE - 04/02/2013 07:30 Had an early morning walk to halewood ravenscourt this morning to see what was on the J1 from prescot it was Gemini 4453 MX61AYM and there wasnt a single person on it i took a photo of it before i got the first 79 to town which was formed of Gemini 4448 MX61AYG i thought the bus for the J1 must have to leave speke depot at some god unearthly hour to get up to prescot as it leaves prescot at 3:50am and gets to ravenscourt at 4:35am. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - Neoplan N4009 - 04/02/2013 19:38 One of the ex-501 Citaro's appeared on the 500 today , couldn't ID it. Meanwhile Palatine 3332? Was on the 82 |
