Additionally I think one or two DLA's have had engine fires as well. Another one for the past may have been B10B 6574 as well. Must admit, didn't know about 2578. 2578 had a fire shortly after it entered service with Green Lane, if you search "Arriva 2578" into google, it's one of the first links that shows up. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - Penny Return - 23/02/2014 10:10 4211 is allocated here but NfS at the moment RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - MPTE1955 - 24/02/2014 08:18 Juts had my first ride of 4210 on the 81, not sure what to make of it to be honest it was probably just alright and nothing else. However, it was cold on there and could have done with some heating on, not much in the way of rattles. One thing these are is better than the DLA's though. Better than a DLA and thats about all ! notice several are oos with faults,do not think these will last too long RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - SL64 JFK - 27/02/2014 15:38 4463 is having an outing on the 500 today. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - RSTurbo50 - 27/02/2014 17:47 Went on the 80A to the airport this morning. It was one of the Y plate Mylenniums. What a load of rubbish. Rattly, noisy, stunk of stale urine and very sluggish. Is this a Speke bus and are they all like this? A reasonable example with a very well refurbished interior but slightly bumpy ride. Nevertheless, an improvement on what it has replaced. RE: Arriva North West - Speke Depot - MPTE1955 - 08/03/2014 14:50 Had 2633 on 81 earlier, this has gear box issues as just wasn't changing gear at all and very slow. Also funny smell coming from the engine. Also had 2458 on 81, this really has to be the worst myllenium I have ridden, truly awful in all ways |
