Best to wait and see I think. It has already been reported in this thread from a reliable source that Speke are due new buses for the 86/86A next year.

4117 has lost its McCain happy days advert.
2455 can now be seen with a interurban front but the rest of the bus is in the old livery!
It's also worth noting 2460 is freshly repainted.
New adverts for united utilities were placed on some b7s yesterday. Fleet numbers unknown.
4112 appears to be in for repaint whilst 4120 continues to run with no adverts or frames. Looks like new!

I've not seen anything of 2475 and doesn't appear on any garage fleet list.

81 seems to be allocated with Gemini's today, this is quite unusual for a Sunday and I can only assume it is due to the Football.

2477 was on 80A lates on Thursday, it had been off the road for a week with a defective alternator. 2476 is getting broke up for spares in the depot and has donated it's alternator for 2477 which is back on the road for now.

The ideal double deckers for the 86/86A would be Enviro500s.
Could be nicely done with leather seats and free wifi after all the 86A is a major route within liverpool !
