Had the misfortune of riding it from JLA, already packed to the rafters by time it left...original plan was to go to town but just gave up and got the train from South Parkway as it was unbareable.

We can only hope that once the new deckers arrive and the Myllenniums depart, rubbish allocations like this will cease.

From Experience, a Commander is bad enough on the 86 corridor, Cadet certainly wouldn't of done much good!

You think running under capcity vehicles is Arriva saying to Merseytravel ok your not helping in the battle of the bus lanes we will do what we want .

A game of who blinks first now .

I highly doubt that is the case because Merseytravel have nothing to do with capacity specifications on a commercial route. In any case they are hamstrung in the bus lane issue.

It's more likely an error at allocation, a short-notice replacement or a breakdown cover, although that's not to say leaving DDs in the garage and using a single-decker on your busiest route is anywhere near a smart idea.

What is a QBP supposed to be then if Merseytravel doesnt have an input and a specification.

Is it any wonder then that one of the other PTE's in Tyne and Wear wants to go to the next step QBC , with the big companies belly aching over that , just imagine that happening here.

I didn't think vehicle capacity was one of the specs of a QBP.

Is it?

It isn't no, their specs are mainly focused on emissions, cleanliness, CCTV, branding and destination equipment.
