The X-ANC/HJA/OBN Dennis Darts
RE: The X-ANC/HJA/OBN Dennis Darts
So we have the end of the normal sized darts with ANW, just the MPD's left.

This 15 year age thing within Merseyside is quite crazy. Looking at other parts of the country, some vehicles maybe twenty years old are still being used daily.

A little off topic here so please forgive. Anyone know whatever happened to the ex macc/winsford darts? I know most were scrapped but a few survived they were:

882 - Y42 TDA, last in liverpool somewhere
886 - Y46 TDA, also in liverpool
857/858 - T527 & 528 AOB, last i'd heard headed to shropshire somewhere.

I know all the ex macc ones 861-869 are now history IIRC.

882 last at Bangor, 886 dumped minus parts at Wrexham. Both non DDA.
Former 857 last reported Emsworth & District whilst 858 last reported with John's Coaches, Blaenau Ffesiniog

Pity about that, both 882/886 were popular at macc as were 876/877/878 at winsford.

Good to hear 857 & 858 are still running, surely T reg darts must be some of the oldest on the road now?

T528 AOB has been declared as SORN, can't see it seeing use again as John's Coaches have gained two slightly newer Darts. Y4 WMS and more recently W464 UAG

2272 X272 OBN has been sold to UK Coachways, it is currently in an overall White Livery!

EDIT: 2267 X267 OBN has also just gained 12 months Tax, wonder if UK Coachways have also bought that

Going off topic (Sorry) but have UK Coachways currently got any single deckers in the fleet as just wondering what they've bought the Darts for
