That bus is completely out of place on the 471/2 at least , never understood when the service went to QBP why the 407 was included in the mix .

Is it really so the the drivers changes can be more easily adminstered.

There's frequently a Gemini or President on the 437 in the morning. ☺

I think it's primarily to even out the layover, as if these services didn't interwork, the Arriva 471/2 would have 12 minutes at Liverpool and the 407 would have just 1 minute, so interworking them evens this out.

Nothing to do with layover, but so driver changes can take place at Laird Street depot rather than on Hamilton Street, it's also why 432 & 433 interwork with the 437.

Okay, good luck with the 407 then if you think 1 minute is appropriate at Liverpool.
Maybe it's just dumb luck that this is how it works out.

Just passed one of the new Hybrids in the tunnel as it was heading to Laird Street. They appear enormous and bruteish in person. Very bulky and imposing unlike the other hybrids or the envrio 400s around Merseyside.

I've noticed that some evening driver change overs on the 432 happen at the bottom of Gorsey Lane.

Strange as I would of thought that the same driver out of Liverpool would be on the 437 for a change over at Laird Street.
