People seem to have mixed feelings about M Travel. They seem to do ok on the 188 in east Manchester, but I always get an uncomfy feeling when I see thier Darts on school services in Mottram with large numbers of kids stood up, I just think it's an accident waiting to happen.

As for Belle Vue I'm still pretty sure they have never operated any 'public' services. My memory is normally pretty good with these things

The previous operator of the 246 was Arriva operating from the Wythenshawe depot. It worked in conjuction with the 245 and I can personally vouch that I had to use the 245 regulary from Trafford General Hospital in the evenings after work, the hourly service was often 'missing'.
As far as Belle Vue are concerned they operated service 277 between Trafford General Hospital and Gorse Hill during 2009. It is shown on GMPTE route map for the Trafford area dated June 2009.
