Stagecoach North East
RE: Stagecoach North East
A change to working on Teesside means that, for the duration of the work on Newport Road, the 36 and 38 will be interworking at Park End. An additional change is the removal of the decker workings on the 36.

Although not directly related to events on the road, I saw this earlier and thought it may be of interest:

Pleased to see Stagecoach standing up for itself and correcting the 'facts':

Another reason not to let politicians get involved with public transport?

Despite the original mention of the dropping of the decker workings on the 36, instead only one is now used - starting at Park End at 0853, it works the 1031 from Hartlepool before then doing the 1223 from Park End as far as Stockton. It then gets replaced there before going on the 1310 38 to Norton Glebe and the 1330 return to Park End before dropping out of service and running light to Macmillan.
