Ariva North West - unspecified
Found this on Flickr this evening....according to the caption, it is believed for Liverpool after conversion (hence the title of this thread as the depot isn't known)

Southport could be a possible destination - unknown deckers are due there in place of the DLAs aren't they?

Great, more London crap, about 11 1/2 years old as well.

Somewhat comically already have a higher lower deck seating arrangement than the DLAs at H45/24D pre-conversion though.

Yep, they will be the same as the ones I am used to getting on Norwich park and ride when I'm down at my wife's parents, they are quite nice, I just can't see them being in the same condition and these are older.

More deckers are welcomed in any capacity, if they're refurbished to a nice standard as some of the DLAs are I see them being welcome additions so long as they are put into the right depots for the right routes.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

These will be straight DLA replacements though not necessarily at the same depots so they probably wont be extra as such.

I'm not sure Southport will receive anything else any time soon. Their DLAs are ostensibly there for school services, so there is no need to replace them with refurbished and newer deckers.

Two sensible options for a decent number of these Presidents would be Bootle, to operate the 61 and allow Enviro400s to take over the busier 52/52A or Speke, to give the 75 and 80 corridors a much-needed capacity boost.

Time will tell won't it, remember though the DLA's will be 15 years old by the end of the year and the beginning of next, so if arriva stick to that rule that will be that, although they do seem to be letting the deckers last a bit longer than the single deckers.

But what you have to remember is the DLAs are nearly 15yrs old and are suppose to be getting withdrawn soon,as i got told on me cpc at green lane so these would be perfect replacements for them even if they are used on schools and are only a few years younger.
