The Liverpool Hope Uni branded B7TL was on the 79 as well!

I got pics of both (I'll get them online soon) however sods law being sods law, the LED screens didn't show on either!

Maybe this is just when I've seen it, it could be different during other times of the day.

Had an 07 reg cadet think it was 2633 on the first 78 this morning and it was packed before we got to picton clock tower and picked more people up down wavertree rd too cadets are not suitable for halewood routes as they are to small i think the 55 and 07 cadets should have gone with the x reg ones and some full size buses bought in to replace them.

Sounds like deckers could/should be used on the Halewood Routes, however it's idiocy that the new bus station there, is being built but with only 1 stand suitable for deckers.Angry

Agree completely with you there man, the Halewood routes get ridiculously congested sometimes. Especially on early mornings, school journeys and sundays. All we need are a few deckers thrown in and it'd clear things up a bit but because of that pathetic bus station were stuck with Commanders and the rare Myllenium if we're lucky!

3313 on the 81A again today, I had the pleasure of a ride and really for its age this is not bad, however getting on I did feel like I had stepped back in time as they seem so narrow. The DLA's are only a year newer and yet appear a lot newer if you know what I mean.

Know what you mean, the later Palatines have a built on the cheap feel to them, especially compaired to the older CRE Palatines that have now been withdrawn. Only problem with the DLAs are lack of seats downstirs & there quite slow.

Some DAF/ALX400s are quite fast. Arriva Buses Wales' S278 JUA (4098) is excellent. It goes off the line just as fast as a Volvo/ALX400 - if not, faster! Not bad for its type!

I agree, some DLA's are quite quick, Bootle's 4082 springs to mind as being one but there are others. 4026 is another one I think.

Think it's the first batch that's slow, plus lack of seats downstairs, were they the criticisms from, i actually quite like them.

Yes, for really long buses the amount of seats downstairs is quite poor.
