RE: Arriva North East
Prestige 4048 made a rare appearance on Stockton local service 6 today as a changeover replacing 1769 after the later ended up with a smashed window.

RE: Arriva North East
Prestige 4038 was used on the 6 today. Pulsar 1458 was on the short 17.

Redcar were 15 buses short at morning allocation, and 6 short by half 10, when they were loaned Stockton's reserve Prestige 4056. Very oddly, by 1545 Stockton had Whitby-based OmniCity 4648 on that 5 departure from Middlesbrough in place of a brokendown Pulsar.

Redcar still have ongoing problems with the power on 7501-7503, which see's them running around on local services for the time being.

Im told that two more deckers are due from Ashington, before the Bank Holiday weekend.

Do the problems relate to lack of power on the hills either side of Robin Hoods Bay?

It's more to do with the location of the AdBlue tank I've been lead to believe, which result in the solution crystalising due to the heat. 7507-13 have already had their tanks relocated however 7501-6 haven't.

'The Best One' Pulsar 1405 has been on the X66 today. Meanwhile, Whitby have again had 1737 on the 5 without a working front destination screen.

RE: Arriva North East
A very odd working today was the appearance of 4069 on the X1/X2.

Information I've received today in regards to the September allocation changes are as followed:

7512/3 move to Redcar from Ashington, replaced by Spectras 7482/3
Durham regain 1418 from Jesmond along with two Solos, which see 4042/68 transfer to Redcar while 4072 is officially listed as disposal
Redcar gain 4042/68 which replaced 4003/81, while 4035/6 are replaced by 7512/3
Ashington gain 7470 from Jesmond
With the end of the Metro Replacements, 7478 returns from Jesmond to Durham while 7479 returns to Ashington from the same source. 7625 (sent to Ashington in-place of the planned 7612) returns to Blyth in exchange for 7475. All Olympians are withdrawn to disposal, along with 4004/5/54 and 1205.
Coaches 1210/2 move to reserve for conversion to Driver trainers, with 1211 joining them once the X16 finishes. Already converted 1206 is renumbered 9990

And further to that, 7482/3 have arrived at Ashington today (photos on North East & Regional Bus Photos Facebook Group) after undergoing minor work at Gardiners of Spennymoor.

Although it's not listed on the September allocation, and it retains its Yorkshire fleet number, I believe it is actually now part of the North East fleet. Obviously, at present, it doesn't have a working destination display due to it having a Brightech rather than the North East-standard Hanover.

Thanks, kuyoyo, for info. on 7501/7503, re. AdBlue tanks.
