There should be another one completed last weekend but I'm not sure which just yet. |

507011 has also had its interior refreshed. A couple of unit notes: 507002 has been out of service for several weeks now and has moved around Birkenhead North depot a few times. Also, 508131 seems to be almost always on the New Brighton line recently although I did see it on the Chester line last Friday. It seems to be one of the more troublesome units in the fleet. |

508131 is on West Kirbys today. The brakes were incredibly loud after it's recent C4 overhaul! 507002 is in the "naughty engine" road alongside the shed

508126 is the latest recipient of the interior refurbishment i had it on the Ormskirk line this morning it was running as a 6 car with 507017. I could smell that newness smell of the materials used in the refurbishment of 508126. |

Boxing Day trains have been confirmed to operate for the first time. A 30 minute service on all lines with a limited number of stations open, as follows: Southport, Birkdale, Formby, Waterloo, Sandhills, Liverpool Central, Liverpool South Parkway, Ormskirk, Maghull, Aintree, Kirkdale, Kirkby, New Brighton, Birkenhead North, Conway Park, James Street, West Kirby, Leasowe, Hooton, Bromborough, Rock Ferry and Birkenhead Central. More details. Also, the late night trains are returning, in a similar fashion to last year with one limited stop journey to Southport and another to Hooton at 01.30. This year it is only for the two weekends prior to Christmas but both Friday and Saturday nights are served. More details. |

508125 is the latest recipient of the interior refresh. The front ends look silly on this just now with the new vinyls laid over the filthy ones beneath. Quite the contrast. |
