If you closely inspect the paint, it is quite messy and the window frames are covered in little licks of yellow paint.

I caught 507017 on the Ormskirk line on saturday it looks very smart in the new livery it could do with some mechanical attention however as upon leaving Ormskirk the suspension was creaking and banging away like anything presume overhauls will follow later on?

Not around the window seals. On 507017's yellow side, these have been painted somewhat crudely. In fairness, they didn't look too bad on 507011 at first glance.

508122 is the latest unit in the new livery its on the Ormskirk line this morning running as a 6 car with 508139.
