These two sets are the last for a while now. I believe that apart from 001/2 the remainder will come with door modifications and end doors done

RE: Merseyrail
These where the units that had been in a near enough complete state when Covid 19 hit Europe , all other units after these two will have been built post covid 19 .

I wonder how much spare space there is there for these units , its going to come to a point soon where units will come for commissioning and then have to go elsewhere for storage , Merseyrail hasnt got an awful lot of siding space do they ?

The Butchers Sidings in Southport are an option - but as 507022 has said there's no deliveries for a while it could end up being a "one in and one out" situation by the time deliveries resume again

RE: Merseyrail
There are the sidings for the former stabling area at birkenhead central as well.

All that would be required would be replacement of the track and installation of the 3rd rail into the stabling shed which was done to enable a 3 coach unit to move out from the shed without the need to be pulled out by another unit.

I think there is a roof issue to the shed at Birkenhead Central , hence why it was already looked at and im sure its been rejected.
