To add a bit more information the 45 was originally launched using the ex-Go Ahead R reg Wright Renowns (which just happened to arrive in an all red livery.) Those were replaced by the 2 x brand new Metrocities when they joined GHA which were given a livery similar to the GHA Gold Enviros which GHA had, at the time, recently introduced for the 88 route. Although, when the extra services were launched it meant other buses were used alongside the Metrocities.
