With GHA expanding in the Warrington region alongside previous gains in Cheshire East, with services already in Altrincham and near Stockport and the 130 on Sunday. Could GHA be looking at TFGM tenders (especially in the Altrincham area)???

In the former Vale Royal, Macclesfield and Congleton boroughs Arriva finished up as the main operator after Arriva/North Western acquired Stevensons, Starline and Novia Scotia.

This left a gap in the market as Arriva weren't interested in some of the less profitable routes allowing coach companies like Swans and Bakers to have a go at running bus routes and allowing D&G and GHA to enter the area. For instance, the 82 Chester to Northwich service was a service Arriva said was no longer viable so they weren't interested in renewing the contract which let GHA get it.

On the other hand in the Trafford borough there's 3 biggies who will look at bidding for TfGM contracts - Stagecoach, Arriva and First as well as smaller operators, so a much more competitive process.

I'm actually surprised Stagecoach don't seem to bid for any Cheshire East contracts. The 200 Wilmslow-Manchester Airport service fits perfectly in their operating area.
