I believe they have had W471BCW sitting around for about a year now, how come the delay in getting it into service?

Not sure but originally it was going to have a special livery to commerate a centenary event in Denbighshire. For some reason it never happened - possibly due to cuts in local authority transport budgets. By then it had been given a white based livery. I then suspect that the next delay was higher priority work for the workshops. Whilst it arrived with the second door removed it still had to have a fair amount of work to cover up the changes.
