With a few spare hours today I headed the short distance down to Belle Vale to have a look at the 89 route. I had decided to ride either to Woolton or Huyton, and this was pretty easy as the bus stops were adjacent to each other.
The first bus to arrive was B10 Renown 2706 going to St Helens. I had not ridden one since they were replaced by Geminis on the 79 in 2011. I don't care that they are fifteen years old they are far better than the Pulsars.
My return to Belle Vale was on Pulsar 2982. Also seen on the route were 2699 2956 2979 and 2705. Also seen at Belle Vale was training bus formerly 2702 looking very smart.
