7627 on the 10 this evening. Noted returning from Liverpool in St Helens at about 6.45.

2493 broke down on the 329 (7.20 from St Helens) this morning. The fan belt had fallen off according to the driver. It wasn't in good shape before that as the doors had to be opened and closed manually all the way from St Helens. Credit to the driver for keeping on with the journey and trying to get people to work on time. I've been on a few cadets that have had problems with their doors, usually on their first journey out of the depot. Is this a usual thing with cadets? Usually switching the engine off and back on again does the trick.

Due to the horrendous traffic this morning, the next 329 was 30 minutes late getting Warrington, taking over an hour from St Helens. This meaning that there was an 90 minute gap in the service during morning peak time.

7647 replaced 2493 and 7644 replaced another cadet on the 329 today too.
