You wouldn't believe it'd had a new engine fitted! There's a couple of the others (fleetnumbers escape me at the moment) which have started giving off exhaust fumes again too. Evidently whatever it was they did to remedy it was far from a permanent fix. Just a good job they didn't go to the expense of re-painting the backs of 2492/4 in the end, would have been wasted! 2494 wants the suspension looking at too though, it smashes down at the rear in a similar fashion to the late Ultralows!
