Stagecoach Manchester and Wigan
RE: Stagecoach Manchester
10042-51, probably replacing a selection of the oldest Enviro400s post-Olympics.

I've heard the MANs could be leaving after the Olympics, so they could be replacing those. Perhaps the 15 would be converted to full-time double-deck operation as a result.

I've got no idea! lol Just something I was told.

TBH, Solos would probably suffice for that route anyway. The only routes that are routinely allocated MANs are the 15 and 171. I'm not aware of any school services that are allocated MANs.

Sharston has around 5 for use on the 84 (although often at least one board is Enviro400 allocated with one appearing on the 42A).

It is Ashton and in particular Stockport that has the largest amount of MANs, and that would involve a large order to replace them, even if it is just the S to X reg examples.

41166 I think is the one under the arches... that'd be enough for the 171s, even a Primo is overkill. (Waits for someone to tell me capacities are the same)
