One of the only depots in the North West and Wales that doesn't need any more deckers is Birkenhead. There are already Enviros and Geminis carting fresh air around on local routes on a daily basis.

Bangor will surely be a candidate for some of these latest arrivals. Height is an issue in these parts, but the DLAs are low height so even these displaced from elsewhere could arrive. Various rumours about Wales have flown around suggesting Rhyl want deckers for the 12 and Aberystwyth want a handful for their Cymru Express services. I'm not sure there is any substance to either suggestion, but thought it worth mentioning.

In Liverpool, it is frankly shameful that Green Lane is an entirely single deck allocation. We've done this to death before, but the 12/13 and 15 should be improved as a matter of urgency. With the 12/13 still using a wide variety of old stock which is far too small, the opportunity remains to transfer a large batch of these incoming DLPs (around 20) to fully convert the 12/13 to deckers at least as an interim measure. New deckers could be ordered in the future once the Presidents had settled in. I very much doubt many of the passengers would complain at losing the handful of Pulsars that are used on there daily.
