RE: Greater Manchester Service Changes
Some proposed forthcoming changes from GMCA ahead of its next bus committee meeting next Friday (6 August):

29 August

• 66 (Diamond): Service to terminate at Prestwich Longfield Centre instead of Prestwich Tesco.
• 79 (Diamond): Weekday afternoon journeys re-timed with fewer journeys running.
• 84 (First): Sunday journeys to run between Uppermill and Manchester only (Huddersfield journeys operated by service 184)
• 184 (First): Sunday journeys extended from Grotton to Huddersfield, partly replacing service 84. Monday-Saturday evening journeys re-timed with some journeys withdrawn, while an additional Monday-Saturday evening journey to/from Huddersfield is introduced.
• 287 (Little Gem): Service proposed to run the circular route in the opposite direction but serve Richmond Road instead of Church Brow and Talbot Road.
• 335 (Little Gem): Service proposed to be re-routed around Dane Bank to serve Thornley Lane South, Wilton Street and Granada Road instead of Anson Road.
• 435 (Transdev Rosso): Service to be re-routed in Buckstones to serve Hannerton Road, restoring the link previously served by service 403. The schoolday journey from Milnrow is withdrawn (covered between Milnrow and High Crompton by service 408).
• 480 (Transdev Rosso): Additional weekday morning journeys introduced at 0711 from Bolton and 0720 and 0820 from Bury
• 613 (Hattons): Service re-timed
• 630 (Hattons): Service re-timed
• 635 (Diamond): Extension from Wigan to Wigan Infirmary withdrawn, due to poor usage
• B1 (Transdev Rosso): Additional first and last journey introduced
• B2 (Transdev Rosso): Additional first and last journey introduced
• B4 (Transdev Rosso): Additional first and last journey introduced
• R1 (Transdev Rosso): Early weekday morning journeys re-timed
• R3/R13 (Transdev Rosso): Additional journey introduced at 0806 from Rochdale to Healey Corner as service R3, returning to Rochdale at 0818 as R13
• R4/R5 (Transdev Rosso): Services re-timed to run 35 minutes later.
• R7 (Transdev Rosso): Service re-timed with additional running time on peak-time journeys, while the 1600 weekday journey from Rochdale is extended to Castleton.
• R8 (Transdev Rosso): New weekday off-peak and Saturday service introduced, restoring the service along Bury Road between Bamford and Rochdale, following the suspension and withdrawal of the Trax Fast service between Bury and Rochdale in 2020.
• X41 (Transdev): Additional stops between Prestwich and Manchester introduced

• 336/337 (Stagecoach): Re-timed to improve reliability
• 389 (Stagecoach): Re-timed to improve reliability
• X1 (Hulleys): New service introduced between Ashbourne and Manchester Airport via Leek, Macclesfield and Manchester Airport Viewing Park. Journeys will continue into Manchester as service X57. One Saturday journey will extend tofrom Alton Towers.
• X57 (Hulleys): Most Monday-Saturday daytime journeys are re-routed to serve Hyde bus station, with some journeys extending to Manchester Airport Viewing Park (these journeys will extend as service X1 to Ashbourne).
