Greater Manchester Tenders
RE: Greater Manchester Tenders
Sounds like Julian Peddle was pissed off with TfGM's COVID related requirements. Maybe why D&G stopped running TfGM contracts?

RE: Greater Manchester Tenders
But Scotts have lost existing contracts to ROSSO, so I'm not sure it's extra work.

More buses worth of work then they are loosing so it’s extra rather than less.

This means that route 151 is returning to Stotts after just 1 year with Little Gem.

The main cliffhanger is what is happening to the routes deregistered by Diamond outside their home turf.

No surprise really. Goodwins put very low prices in to win work during covid to keep the wolf from the door. The coaching game is picking up now so works going elsewhere.

Admittedly route 151 and the Ashton routes are somewhat outside their usual turf.

I think I saw a rumour of them losing, or losing interest in, some Altrincham work too.

The 06-09 reg vehicles were only ever a temporary measure. Bidders for new contracts need to have sufficient vehicles with Euro 6 engines.

Not true. The only contractual stipulation is age. Of operators choose to use a non compliant vehicle exhaust system wise they pay the fines when the CAZ comes in, and when I say WHEN I mean IF because it’s all up in the air at the moment.
