Should be because some are more knackered or less temperamental than others

2712/16/17/19 are more temperamental than the rest of the 27**.

It is shocking really that in all the years they have had the Volvo's at St Helens, they have done very little to refurbish/refresh them. I compare these Volvo's with those of Blanefield/Transdev in Lancashire which were having new leases of life every few years. It is fair to say most of them are probably knackered.

2716-21 were heavily used on the 79 at Speke until replaced by Geminis at the start of 2012.
All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

Out of all the Renowns i always thought these where the worst examples as i remember getting them when they first arrived at Green Lane and they where awful, Only 2720 that has had loads of work done to it a decent example
