RE: The Weather
This weather has been strange on Merseyside . Go a few miles in , away from the coast and some form of snow has tried to lie , but if you live by the coast the weather has been consisting of hail showers which have been very rather heavy. |

RE: The Weather
Same story further inland - yesterday afternoon absolutely dry in Wigan but down the road in St Helens, still quite a lot of lying snow. This morning was a white out in both places although id does appear to be clearing in Wigan. |

RE: The Weather
Think the daytime temperature is a bit different today than it was yesterday. Yesterday just felt a very raw day , today is a typical winters day , the next few days take us back to the raw days I think , there is some debate about possible heavier snow towards Monday and Tuesday |

RE: The Weather
Not far off the end of winter and we have had just under half the amount of rain we had last year . Last year was a very stormy winter , one the south coast would like to forget , especially Dawlish. This year it has been what we can say a normal winter for the UK , a bit of everything all rolled together. |

RE: The Weather
Has anyone else noticed the fog bank over the Dee for the last two evenings? |

RE: The Weather
The fog is back this morning here on the east side of the Wirral , much thicker than yesterday as well. Suspect that the Mersey Ferries service will not start on time today . |

RE: The Weather
Well whatever it is it will be cold to say the least , but should be short lived this time . There is expected to be a return to colder weather towards the end of next week according to the charts on http://www.theweatheroutlook.com When you look at the pressure charts , Low pressure goes anti clockwise , High Pressure goes clockwise. The Pressure charts go from 0 to 384 hours (14 days hence) beyond 7 days there just a projection of possible weather patterns based on a couple of computer models . |
