Halton Transport
RE: Halton Transport
Noticed that neither of the 200-branded vehicles was on the 200 this afternoon.
Is this usual? If so, what has happened to them?

Also saw that one of the Scanias is still wearing its old blue and silver livery on the back and sides but has the Halton red and beige livery on the front -- must have been like that for a good year now!

Nice that it includes a Saturday trip on the 110 too.

Good news is that the 62 is to be half-hourly through to Warrington during the day!

I am disappointed that Halton's website doesn't include these changes.
An update was made today, but just saying that there will be no industrial action.

The vehicles for the 200 have been missing for quite a few weeks now. The usual allocation last week was a MCV and usually either #15 or #16

I had heard they had been sold but never had any proper confirmation about this.

Oh Superman where are you now, when everything's gone wrong somehow, the men of steel, the men of power, are losing control by the hour.

They where sub-leased from Halton Council so its possible the lease ran out and and HBC have sold them for use elsewhere.

Might be worth noting, just seen a ELC going down Liverpool Rd about 5 minutes ago spluttering out noxious black fumes from its exhaust, thought it was on fire at first.
