Both 507002 and 508111 working evening peak six cars on the Southport line today, but not coupled together unfortunately. Units 507026 and 507029 were the partners on this occasion.

Signalling problems on Ellesmere Port line this morning. According to information available in Ellesmere Port ticket office, was due to cable theft. |

Due to problems with signals in the Liverpool Central / James Street area there has been disruption all evening . Services around the Liverpool Loop have been delayed by around 6 minutes . Due to the short turnaround at Chester , Chester services have been terminating at James Street to enable the service to run with no delays . |

507030 is outside Birkenhead depot with shiny new bogies. I wonder what unit (s) will be next? Should be units such as 508124, 508131, 508110 my guess would be. |

Candidates for the next few overhauls will be 507033, 507020, 507031 and as you say 508124. I'm not sure where the ex-stored 508s (508108/110/120/122/123/131) fit into the overhaul order but 108 and 110 shouldn't be too far off.

If your working Saturday this week , it may be slightly busier than a normal rail replacement on the Liverpool - Birkenhead Central sector due to Chester Races being on , nothing like good planning is there . |
