Just looking at a fleetlist, there are some 200 Pulsars aged within 18 months of each other, so I'd speculate that, regardless of age, if any become uneconomical to repair then they will be withdrawn. A 59 plate is knocking 14 years old now- it doesn't seem 5 minutes since they were brand new! With Winsford closing shortly and Bolton going through franchising there will be an excess of 72 vehicles so there will probably be a substantial number of 58/09/59/10 plate Pulsars replaced. |

Can't see it mentioned but 4113 has made one or two appearances in service at Birkenhead now.

4509 limping out the tunnel just now at Liverpool on 472, hazards on and driver trying to keep it going to get out the way. Just managing it |
