All three 500 workings were single deckers today. A sensible move in my opinion as present loadings on the 500 nowhere near justify deckers at the expense of other routes. Most, if not all, 80/80As today were back to deckers which is a major improvement on the unacceptable mainly single deck allocations on this route over the past month. 4478 was on the 86/86A.

Perhaps it was a trial run? Either way, I’m in complete agreement that 4444, 4477 and 4478 should be allocated to 80/A and 86/A duties while we’re under lockdown restrictions. Having them run empty on 500 duties just doesn’t make sense. |

Ecos seem to be returning to Route 79 after a long absence due to vandalism. There appeared to be at least 3 or 4 out this morning. Has anybody else noticed this? All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

Has anybody else noticed this? I’ve noticed that they have effectively swapped the allocations on 82 with 79, so 82 sees a lot more DB300s and 79 with more Ecos. Back like it was in 2017! |

Noticed Happy Al’s and Stagecoach with buses on the 699 recently ?? I’m guessing this is a scenario similar to MP Travel taking on the X1 for two months ?? Been hating Urban 90's since 2001

Hybrids are now back on the 79/Q full time, with Geminis and Enviro400 now being allocated onto the 82/C Commanders now operating the 500 - with 4444 77 78 being put out on other airport services. 699 evening journeys are operate by Arriva with day time journeys being operated free of charge by Happy Als. |
