Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
RE: Arriva North West - Winsford Depot
We've never used anything smaller that's for sure, before that we had 47 seater darts. 35+ seat single deckers is what we could really do with to give us some spare vehicles to cover for solos & geminis off the road.

Changes to service 29 coming up in a few weeks. The Saturday service looks like it will confuse people. The new timetable for the 29 is up on the website but not the 29a it seems. Surely they won't have separate timetables?

Interesting to see some journeys missing out davenham and moulton. A good idea but again it may confuse some people that some journeys will still serve Davenham and moulton.

Think it's to try & save some time on what's an already very twisty & lengthy route that goes all round the houses.

On an aside note, chatting to a macc driver mate of mine today says the depot expansion work at gaw end lane is complete. All ready now for the pulsars to start arriving when macc take over 130s, also apparently another 5 new drivers have started recently so seems arriva's recruitment drive has paid off.

The registration plates had been crudely obscured by green paint (so I hope there were trade plates visible to the Police, cos I couldn't see them from the opposite side of the M'way!) but "N7" was still legible. I assume these were N705/7 TPK (formerly 3350/2 of this parish), but confirmation would be appreciated.

They were owned by P&O Lloyd of Bagillt, however have recently been withdrawn and advertised for sale due to being replaced. Presumably they've been sold and were being driven to a new owner

3350/3352!!!!! My old regulars, was a real sad day for a few drivers when the volvo olympians were withdrawn.

3353 was particularly liked as it had high backed coach style seats that were mega comfy.

Ok thanks

There were Sapphire buses running on the 130 today. I suspect the transfer may be in stages.
