I have read on another forum that the wires are being energised on 6th May which only gives a fortnight for training with electric traction. |

The Preston - Blackpool North is signed by a fair few depots that already sign 319s. Blackpool North depot - a fair few are trained on 319 units Manchester Victoria depot - more than a fair few sign 319 units Wigan Wallgate depot - all crew should sign 319 units Liverpool Lime Street - all crew should sign 319 units Leeds City depot - no crew will sign 319 units however they exclusively work the sprinter operated Calder Valley services. So in short, I don't think crew that crew training will be an issue for electric units working the line |

319431 returned to Allerton from Wolverton today. This was the one that caught fire in the toilet cubicle. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

It wasn't in the toilet that the fire started on 431, I believe that it was the fuse cupboard which is adjacent to the universal toilet |
