The 158s were in charge as they operated Stansted-Liverpools. The 323s had one daily working - this was an afternoon Four Oaks to Liverpool via New Street and return to New Street. All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles

I lived in Birmingham in the 90s and had an extended weekend in Liverpool in 1996. I think my outbound journey was a 310 and my return journey a 323. It may be a fluke, but despite class 350/1s being a priority for London Euston-Crewe services, my ride from Crewe to Stafford in March and from Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton yesterday were both class 350/1s. I hoped one of these could have been a 350/2.
