After 17501 lots its roof to a bridge, 17591 was cast in. This only lasted a couple of hours before breaking down and hasn't been on the road since due to fuel issues. Its been repaired and repainted but is awaiting an MOT. As a result of this 17549 was cast in until the end of the contract.

Out of the above, 549 is the only one still in London condition. 494/527/575 are now converted to part opentop and single door conversion and are with City Sightseeing Stratford upon Avon. 17501 still resides in Rock Ferry undergoing a proper open top conversion.

Thanks for that. I was quite surprised to see it like that I first assumed it was working for Happy ALS lol.
Be interesting to see what happens to it once the contract is up. Obviously Manchester got a large number of the same batch and although many were repainted blue and were used with dual door layout on the 151 some have been converted to single door and painted into corporate livery and there actually cracking buses. Look very modern internally for thier age and personally prefer them to the early Enviro400's still knocking about.
