Hooton seems to be becoming a regular Charter Train departure point , im wondering whether it is because platform occupation is a major concern these days at Chester Station. What with Merseyrail services using Platform 7 and Virgin Trains using Platform 3 a lot , it puts Network Rail under pressure if the train sits in the platform for any length of time . Years back Chester had enough platforms for the work it had now it desperately needs a platform 8 . |
