Another way could be to terminate the 417 at Eastham or Mill Park, then having the route operate via Bromborough and Eastham in both directions rather than being a circular through Raby Mere, It would be good to see if timing allowed for it to serve Bromborough Retail Park, I do feel a link is missing here, even if it was just the ASDA stop. for the northern section it could possibly alternate, one hour via Saughall Massie and Town Meadow, the other hour via Manor Drive.
