Ormskirk Bus Station has finally reopened today (13/03/2023) after its rebuild - it has been shut since mid April 2022!

I was there yesterday and was not overly impressed. The layout of the interchange has changed very little apart from moving the new toilet facilities to the opposite side and I do wonder why it was deemed necessary to construct a two-way cycle lane that must be all of 60 metres in length.

The new stainless steel and glass bus shelters do improve the look of the place and the bus timetables are clear and positioned at a height that can be easily read but why, oh why, is a Merseyrail timetable dating from June 2021, when services were reduced because of the pandemic, displayed?
