Presumably to round off the end of the month, it was announced earlier this evening that Dame Deborah James has died aged 40 after a 6 year battle with bowel cancer, she had chosen to stop treatment earlier last month.

Scotland and Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram has died of cancer at the age of 58
This may not really count as a celebrity, but it was doing the rounds on BBC and Twitter yesterday, YouTuber Technoblade has died at the age of 23, following a battle with sarcoma, in which he was diagnosed in August of last year.
