At a Merseytravel event in St. Helens town centre today (31 July), staff confirmed that, from September 2018, (and unfortunately, in my opinion), Arriva 38, St. Helens / Rainford was to revert to using Rainford Road instead of Kiln Lane & Bleak Hill Road.

They were waiting for results of the survey before proposing other changes to the St. Helens network.
