I don't know where RS Turbo gets the idea that they are not making a profit. Their 9 commercial services MUST pay there way otherwise they wouldn't be operating them. Imagine the scrutiny from tax payers if it turned out they were supporting Halton financially.
At a time when councils are looking to save money and cut spending I would imagine Halton just like Blackpool turns a very good profit otherwise the councils would sell them off as quick as possible and as it's been mentioned, Halton have been approached several times by bigger operators.
