I believe the Golds off the 125 are staying at Preston so presumably the older examples will be leaving....

RE: Stagecoach MCSL - Preston Depot
The oldest deckers on Preston's fleet are their original X2 ones, 15466-15474 being 09 plates in the main (15466 was delivered early for training as VLT255 but gained PX58FXK later).
There are also the remnants of a previous batch of Scanias (2nd removed) on 59 plates, 15565-15582 still allocated there so I would expect several of these earmarked for departure. Several of this later batch are already reallocated to Rock Ferry -15563/4/83/4.

I'm wondering if Rock Ferry might get something rather newer.....I suspect there will be a lot of cascades all over once the 226 E400MMC's are delivered (200 plus the additional 17 for Inverness and the 9 for Kendal).

I thought the bulk of the current 555 buses (10552-63) were coach seating, but from what you’ve posted are they the same spec as Gillmoss’s 10534-51?
I know there are older ones than those on that route as well

10552-10563 do have coach seats, my shot of 10552 at Bowness

Or Rock Ferry could put the 1 and X1 back to their rightful frequencies and Preston could return the nice Enviro300s rather than Wirral passengers being forced onto clapped out Scanias.

ITV X liveried 15593 spotted Preston bound on the 2 this afternoon, presume a recent move from Gillmoss....
