Special buses for route 27 from the railway station to the Southport Flower Show today were Pulsars 2991 3082 and 3090. Speke Depot provided Commanders 2579 2581 2583 and 2593 for the Birkdale Park and Ride as has been the case for a number of years. However as the Commanders will not be at Speke in twelve months I wonder what will be on the service next year? All time rail mileage travelled 327264 miles |

3036 was towed into CR today after a collision with a car in Hillside Village. Bus had quite bad damage and I hope that there was no one in the passenger side of the car as it was pushed right in. Hope all ok! |

4210 made a full day on the 47 today from about 0900. Also 2727 will be staying in Rhyl for it's remaining days. The last B10BLEs here are 2723/6/8 alas. |

Credit to the Arriva Southport Fleet News Facebook group: Canning Road stalwart and driver trainer 8214 (M514 WHF) has been repainted into current Arriva livery, retaining g it's white front. This will be renumbered 5078 and used during the closure of the railway lines under the Mersey as a 'bike bus' giving cyclists access to the rail replacement service. Special credit to Kevin Rowe and Martin Connolly. |

The last time I saw a Renown on the 300 was mid-December. More often than not they're operated by those "Southport Links" Pulsars. |
