Arriva North East
RE: Arriva North East
Since the DLA's from Jesmond have been in service for about a week now in Durham I have been looking out for an vehicles that may have been withdrawn since all the step-entrance deckers are used daily. From my findings I think all the Scania N113DRB / East Lancs E Types have gone as I haven't seen them since which is very rare unless they have left the fleet. I have seen all the Palatine II's in service as well except from R206 CKO and R207 CKO. Has anyone else seen any of the missing vehicles for shed light onto the vehicles at Durham that have been withdrawn?

After looking since yesterday I have discovered that N138 OYH may be going but I saw that as it was on the 43 today.

3 Dennis Dart SLF/Alexander ALX200 are due to join the fleet in the next few weeks from Arriva London. They are due to be 1101-3 (W466-8 XKX), and are reported to be allocated to Redcar/Whitby Depot. Also transferring from Arriva London is further DAF DB250/Alexander ALX400s, the first of which is X504GGO an is currently reported to be at Thorntons (as are 1101/3, 1102 is currently under preparation at Blyth).

More than three ALX200 ... I typed up the details and the 6 DLA that are due up yesterday but seems the Administrators did not see fit for it to be published on the forum ... so will not bother again

RE: Arriva North East
Apologies Steve, that's entirely my fault! I assumed after reading the post which followed that listing the vehicles that you didn't want it publishing and with a quick skim read over the post above, thought that contained the same information.

As I say, entirely my fault and apologies again.

There are 3 here now, I do understand there's another 2 listed as NE reserve but as yet what they are isn't known. I believe there's also another 10 DAFs due as well in addition to X504GGO.

Volvo B5LH 7809/10 were used for the launch in Whitley Bay and Blyth. A sister was on the X10 today.

RE: Arriva North East
I wonder what vehicles the ex-London buses, particularly the Darts, will replace.

I asked the other week about whether EcoCities would operate on Sundays. You indicated that these are unlikely to operate on Sundays at least for now. Do they at least run into the evenings on Saturdays? I could ride one then instead!
