Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre
RE: Arriva St Helens Paint Shop & Repair Centre
Perhaps Bolton could be a destination for some of the Myllenniums from LS & SP?

Theres still going to be 6 left I think mate, 3 Ikarus 481s and 3 Polaris', so theres still a chance to ride them!

i would guess they will follow these as they are all the same age and on a 10 year lease. Suppose with them being non-standard in the Arriva fleet they wouldnt purchase the lease. Wouldnt be suprised if the all the other MAN vehicles follow suit

Nope, they aren't the same age. The 481s are V and W reg, the remaining 489s are Y reg, so they would have returned already if they are on a lease as well.

Also the Ikarus buses aren't MANs, they are DAF SB220 like the Myllenniums. The older V/W reg ones aren't very nice to ride on in my opinion, slightly better since the refurb and not had a chance on a Polaris yet.

The latest Arriva Disposal list shows former ANW Wright Crusader Volvo B6's X801-9AJA and X811-22AJA
It also lists the 2 X814/6AJA dumped here as being the property of Arriva North East.
So i doubt they will be used by Arriva again unless Midlands wants them to replace vehicles acquired with the former D&G operation at Wolverhampton.

Other Arriva North West vehicles on the disposal list as follows;
Volvo Olympians R319WVR R322WVR and R327WVR
And Marshall Darts T615PNC and T621PNC
