RE: Halton Transport
Yep! I expect some further withdrawals soon, possibly all the W reg Darts!
I seen a few buses today with big chunks of LEDs failed. Not good IMO, looks rather shoddy if a bus turns up that says something to the effect of: 14 WIDN AGE RD or 61 RUN OR URDI AW, something that needs sorting sooner rather than later IMO!
Seen a Marshall on the 14A earlier and it clicked how Halton have got away with not having to put The Hive on any blinds. The route means that the 2A/14A serve Green Oaks, The Hive, Tesco then terminate at Vicarage Road as before, so in effect The Hive is just another via point!

It's true, but there are some journeys on 12a and 14a which terminate at the Hive on Sundays, and some 14a Mon-Sat evenings as well, so it will be interesting to see how they account for that Big Grin
Btw, on that waterfront (get it?), there have been amendments to the 13a on Sundays from WCM as Halton Council's input has clearly been taken elsewhere :P

PS I never did manage to get on a 12 -- had to go and get a job in Manchester a couple of days before it finished. It means that I won't get to see off the Saints Paladins either. Hmph.

Those journeys are likely to be operating by vehicles with LEDs anyway mate, its very very rare a blinded vehicle makes it out on lates or Sundays from what I've seen! Smile
I managed to get 1 or 2 crap pictures the day before it was withdrawn, LEDs haven't shown up right due to the destinations in the ELCs, but you get the jist that it's a 12! Haha :P
Unlucky mate! :/ One of those things eh!

RE: Halton Transport
On the subject of dodgy displays, I noticed that on Huyton Travel's 17b a couple of Sundays ago, the 1 of 17b was half off the display, so it looked like 7B with a bit of a mess on the left.
The writing was quite small as well: poor use of the allocated space, as my old drama teacher would say!

If you're regarding an Enviro200, that'll probably be KX59 CYZ! I've got a photo of it with the issue that you've stated:

That's the one!
I did get a terrible photo of it (http://tinypic.com/r/2dgthfd/6), but the 'offending' part of the display has luckily been missed off Big Grin

RE: Halton Transport
thats the worst thing about having such an open yard seperated from your main depot/building.

RE: Halton Transport
Unfortunate news indeed! Not something you'd wish to happen, as MM says though it's always a risk with such an open yard!
Hopefully who ever is responsible is caught!
