Sometimes you can find the PIS (destination displays) will work in the underground (on door counts) but not out the underground (gpls). And vice versa!! |

Also construction work on the new Maghull north station is scheduled to begin in January and will involve a few closures of the line presumably between the existing Maghull station and Ormskirk. |

507001 was on the 06:30 service from Maghull to Liverpool this morning noticed its been overhauled with shiny new door steps and underframe equipment. Are any other units in for overhaul at the moment? Thanks. |

How long do the 507s and 508s have before they are withdrawn? If I remember rightly from "The History Of Merseyrail" by the late TB Maund (published in 2001 I think) was that the units were to be refurbished then replaced around seven years later! |
