For 30 stations, it is likely that some lines would be re-opened: Bootle Branch/Canada Dock Line: Liverpool, Edge Hiill, Edge Lane, Stanley, Tuebrook, Breck Road, Walton & Anfield, Spellow, Bootle Oriel Rd and on to wherever... North Mersey Branch: Bootle-Aintree Travel is glamorous only in retrospect. |

North Mersey would have to be added to the Northern Line of Merseyrail as that would be feasible , im sure. |

The Wirral lines certainly seem to have had a run of awkward disruptions recently - points failures, line side equipment failures, train failures closing lines for hours at a time every few days. Even the passengers are talking about it on forums like Wirral Newsbeat which report them as they happen. It must be pulling the reliability stats right down. |

It is beyond poor quite frankly that they continue to use 3 cars on the Southport line on weekends now we're into July. The provision of weekend pairs on this line should be year-round as the loadings easily justify it, or at the very least a lot more than just the summer holiday weekends in July, August and September. The forecast might not be outstanding for today, but it will be sunny and that in itself will see high loadings. They've had years to sort this out but never do, it's simply a disgrace.
